NAVRATRI SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

PRESIDIUM GGN-57
NAVRATRI SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Navratri represents celebration of Goddess Durga, the manifestation of deity in the form of Shakti.
In western parts of India, Sharad Navratri is celebrated with the famous Garba and Dandiya dance.
Children of grade I-G and VI celebrated the occasion by presenting these famous dances of Western India i.e. Garba and Dandiya.
Grade II- F showed their dramatic talent by presenting a skit on the belief behind the celebration of Durga Puja.
Children were dressed up as Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Brahma. Lordess Durga, Lakshmi etc.
Lordess Durga was seen here in her true form with her lion and killing the Rakshasha Mahisasur. We could feel her presence and blessings there.
Our small Wonders of Prep.-H and Prep.-I presented the wonderful Kathak Dance form. The Audience was awestruck on seeing such small children perform with confidence and perfection. Karan of grade- III,performed on Tabla and everyone was spell bound to see these children perform keeping the heritage of Classical Music ignited.
Overall, the Special Assembly on Navratri brought back the thought that we are on the footprints of our motto-be what you want to be.
