SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON GANDHI JAYANTI                                               DATE: 27.09.12

First, Children prayed their school prayer followed by Om chanting and then chanting

shloka - Guru bramha .

 Girls were dressedup in white suit and boys were dressed in white kurta pyjama and 3

 children were dressed as Gandhi ji.

All the children performed on the song Vande Matram.

The play was performed starting with a scene where some children were shown fighting

with each other. Gandhiji came and explained them the value of non-violence  and peace.

 In the next scene, a police inspector was shown taking bribe from an ordinary person.

Gandhi came and taught him the lesson of truth and honesty.

 In last scene , a politician came and asked for a vote. But he did not help poor

people.So, Gandhiji came and told him to behave nicely with poor people.
